¡Septiembre ya esta aquí! Es uno de mis meses favoritos del año, y aunque normalmente marca el final de las vacaciones, es también el mes de los nuevos proyectos…
Tras el descanso y la recarga de energía del verano, septiembre regala esa ilusión y punto de lucidez que nos ayuda a concretizar nuestros objetivos (ese propósito que tenías guardado en el cajón y que por fin te atreves a materializar, el deseo de cambiar a un estilo de vida y alimentación más saludable, o simplemente sacar unas horas a la semana para dedicarte a ti y a lo que te hace feliz…), sea como fuere, cada uno de nosotros tenemos preferencias y propósitos diferentes y por ello únicos, y… ¡ha llegado el momento de llevarlos a cabo!
Septiembre es también un mes especial para las bodas, con un clima todavía suave y agradable, cada vez más novios deciden darse el sí quiero en estas fechas.
Por otro lado, este mes marca la vuelta a la organización de los preparativos nupciales (después del parón vacacional), para los futuros novios que contraerán matrimonio en los próximos meses.
Y yo un mes más, os traigo mi lista de deseos, de cosas que me han inspirado y que espero que os ayuden y acompañen en este bonito comienzo…
1. Una decoración romántica para el banquete

¿Todavía no habéis decidido donde celebrar vuestra luna de miel o simplemente os apetece realizar una escapada romántica con vuestra pareja? Si sois apasionados del arte antiguo y del mundo clásico… ¡Sicilia es la respuesta!
Esta isla mediterránea, la más grande de Italia, destaca por su riqueza histórica, sus playas y su excelente gastronomía. Por ella han pasado multitud de civilizaciones…(romana, bizantina, islámica , normanda…) lo que hace de Sicilia una isla de armoniosos contrastes.
Fue colonizada en el siglo VIII a.c. por los fenicios y posteriormente por los griegos, quiénes construyeron antiguos templos de arquitectura clásica enriquecidos con esculturas y otros tipos de ornamentación, además de una variedad de construcciones arquitectónicas que demostraban el poder y las habilidades de esta extraordinaria civilización.
En la actualidad, es posible visitar la antigua zona arqueológica de Agrigento, en el sur de Sicilia, conocida como la Valle dei Templi (Valle de los Templos). En 1998 fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco y destaca por la excelente conservación de sus templos.
La mejor época para visitarlos va desde septiembre a mayo/junio, evitando los meses de julio y agosto que es cuando el sol irrumpe con fuerza.
Os aconsejo la visita al atardecer, aprovechando las horas de luz para admirar los templos en todo su esplendor y la posterior puesta de sol…Instantes después, cuando empieza a anochecer, éstos se iluminan y el ambiente es tan evocador y romántico… ¡que merece la pena vivirlo al menos una vez en la vida!

7. Un vino excepcional…
Un vino muy especial para regalar o para pasar una inolvidable velada… “Mille e Una Notte” de las bodegas Donna Fugata de Sicilia, tiene un color rojo rubí intenso, contiene notas afrutadas de moras y grosellas, frescos toques mentolados y notas especiadas de pimienta negra. Es ideal para acompañar carnes como el cordero o solomillo, o bien platos de pasta en salsa de ragú, como los pappardelle al ragù di maiale.
